Yesterday, I decided to go to an antique store nearby because they advertised they were having a huge Memorial Day Sale all weekend. I thought I might luck out and find some great deals. After spending an hour or so walking around and looking at the price tags as well as the signs the different dealers had for 15-25% off, I was convinced that they upped the price for the sale. In the end, the customer feels like they got a great deal but in all actuality, you end up paying what you would have paid on any other day. I wish there were more of those old hole in the wall antique stores like they have in PA. Perhaps I need to drive past the cities and hit the little towns in between; they usually have a little more history they try to hold on to.
Now, I could spend hours in a place like this and walk out with some real treasures to up the ante on fresh and unique.
Look at this place. I would love to stroll through there as well. Why don't they have places like this in the city? Some may call all this stuff junk, but I see potential diamonds in the rough.
